Summary:
Chapter 5: Derek and Kyle explain to Sails how Skynet is responsible for the attacks. Mac outfits the four of them with armor and more weapons. They make it to Sacramento and see that the city is not much more than a pile of rubble. They drive a ways in the take the city by foot. They make it to the city center and mac explains that he is worried that this is going to be a repeat of his past. Their conversation is cut short by three figures heading their direction.Jaina and her gang are introduced, and threatens Mac and Derek. Mac saves Jainas life by pulling her away from an attack by a drone. four drones attack, and are taken out without injury. Jaina decides that Dereks group can be trusted and invites them to join them
Chapter 6: Waves, Jamis, Jaina, Marks, Dan, Charles, Scott, Morgan, Snider and Maves are introduced in more detail. Gain some information on Jaina and other members of the group. Derek, Mac, Kyle, and Sails are dubbed "the core men". Gain general information about the setup of the gang. Supplies are moved, and the drones are salvaged by the demo bros (Charles and Scott). The gang accepts them as friends, allies and family
Chapter 7: Waves, Jamis, Marks, Scott, and Charles go out on a patrol to the city center and encounter two T-1-5 tanks (nasty versions of a t-1). They decide to engage them before backup arrives in the form of the rest of the gang. Using newly adapted "buzzard claw" missiles, they manage to destroy the tanks. Marks is badly injured, and they discover a short while later that Charles is dead. Learn more about Scott and Charles history, and they give Charles a funeral by fire.
