What Happen To The Prom?

What happen to the prom with Cameron and Morris? Are they just leaving it and forgetting everyone from their previous school?

Good question, as although they changed address did they also go to a new school? Its a shame if they are going to leave unanswered questions such as you point out.

Yep, went to a new school with Riley.

Anyone know what is Riley's last name? Also we need more interesting characters from school.

Ya and what about that blonde girl (not riley) who was afraid to go home or something in that one episode- it looked like they were going to pursue some kind of plot with that but they just let it drop.

And what about the girl-graffiti-suicide?? We never caught the final gist of where that mystery was going either.

And of course this prom issue...

It's almost like the writers have just been feeding us misdirection on purpose for some cock-eyed reason that no one could possibly understand except for a humorless t-1000...

I think these stories went the way of the dodo with the writers strike. Maybe they had to move the story on due to time constraints. We will just have to wait and see I suppose.

I like the show but I have some reservations about the direction in which the show is headed.

Also, the show was originally miscast. John and Cameron are supposed to be young teenagers, junior high. The demographics of the show (mostly teen but lots of older adults as well who saw the first Terminator movie) also tell you that teens should be appealed to as a core audience. So imagine my surprise to find out that Thomas Dekker is 21 and Summer Glau is almost thirty. They should have cast two actors who were thirteen years old or even younger. If the show has a long run (quite possible) then they have already aged out of playing middle school, junior high, senior high, college, and even grad school in the case of Miss Glau.

Too bad though since I, like many others, have fallen in love with the two actors who play John and Cameron Connor. I think both do a great job and so don't think I want them thrown off the show. They are both entrenched in our collective psyche. Keep them now![Maybe decades from now they will do a remake of the series and cast much younger and age appropriate]

But the screwup was with the casting director and the producers who went along with it. Word is the show was cast around Summer Glau. A producer spotted her from Firefly and Serenity and thought to himself that he wanted to do a series that would use her performance.

As a show that appeals to teens, we need to see lots more scenes at school. We aren't seeing any home schooling anyway. Sarah isn't reading to John anymore. We need to see more scenes at high school before the actors are too old to be believable.

And, for God's sake bring back Morris. That hope is the only thing that keeps me tuning in.
