Sarah Connor.

Sarah Jeanette Connor (born fall 1965, Los Angeles, California) is the mother of the Resistance, responsible for raising John Connor and teaching him in the ways of war.

A mother, warrior, and the guardian of our future. Her fate was to fall in love with Kyle Reese, the time traveling resistance fighter and the biological father of her son. Together, Sarah and Kyle vanquished the Terminator that was sent to assassinate her. But Kyle paid the ultimate price, dying in the battle. Nine months later, Sarah gave birth to John Connor – the future savior of mankind.

Sarah struggles to balance her role as a single mother with her duties to prepare John for a future in which mankind is threatened with extinction by an artificial intelligence called Skynet. Sarah clings to the hope that she can prevent Skynet from killing billions in a nuclear attack that will be known as “Judgment Day.”

But as Sarah is assaulted by enemies from both the present and
the future, she realizes that protecting her son and stopping Skynet
will be much more difficult than she ever imagined.

Born 1965, Sarah lived a normal life growing up. At the age of 18, she waorked as a waitress at Beg Jeff's family restaurant and shared a two-story apartment in the Palm District with her flatmate Ginger Ventura while studying at college. But everything Sarah had ever known was to change that year in 1984. Targeted for termination, a 800 Series Infiltrator was sent back in time to eliminate Sarah, her only hope was the Resistance soldier Sergeant Kyle Reese, sent back to protect her. Through Reese, Sarah learned of Judgement Day, Skynet, the machine armies, and the part that she would play in their downfall as the mother of the as-yet unborn Resistance leader John Connor. While evading the Terminator, Sarah and Kyle grew close and spent one night together - resulting in John's conception. With Reese's help, Sarah defeated the Terminator, and began on her way to becoming a great military leader. With the use of audio cassettes, Sarah recorded all that had happened, and everything that her unborn son would need to know to survive.

Going into hiding, Sarah gave birth to John on 1985-02-28 and began his training, learning from whoever would teach them. It was not until she attempted to blow up the local offices of some computer corporation, getting herself caught by the police that she was seen again by the authorities. Upon trying to warn of the impending Judgement Day, Sarah was handed over to the custody of Dr. Peter Silberman at the Pescadero State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, where she was diagnosed with acute schizo-affective disorder and institutionalized, her son John being put into foster care.

When Sarah was 29 years old, another Terminator, this time a T-1000, was sent back to eliminate Sarah's ten-year-old son John. With the help of her son, and a reprogrammed 800 series Terminator sent back in time to protect him, Sarah broke out of Pescadero. Trying to prevent Judgement Day, Sarah found out about Skynet's construction by Miles Dyson, and set out to kill him. Although she found herself unable to eliminate him in cold blood, she helped convince Dyson to stop work on Skynet and destroy all his files and the Cyberdyne Systems building. Upon the destruction of Cyberdyne (resulting in Dyson's death) and both Terminators, Sarah took John back into hiding, training him to become a great military leader and tactician.

Three years later, after training John in the ways of warfare and leadership, and ensuring that Judgement Day did not take place on its original date, Sarah Connor finally died in 1997 from leukemia, three years after her initial diagnosis in Baja (although one interpretation of the timeline would suggest that this means she would have been aware of her condition at the time of T2). She was cremated in Mexico, and her friends scattered her ashes into the sea. Never believing that they had truly won even in the end, she had her friends store weapons in a coffin in a mausoleum in Valley of Peace cemetary.

John Connor.

John Connor is the future leader of the Resistance against Skynet in the post-apocolyptic worlkd after Judgement Day. He is the son of Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese.

Prior to the war, several terminators were sent back to assassinate John, as well as his mother. Since childhood he has been raised in the art of war by his mother, Sarah Connor.

Fifteen years old, guarded, courageous, and rebellious. He’s the son of Sarah Connor. All his life, John’s had to keep his true identity a secret. In the future, he will lead The Resistance against
the machines. But today, he must survive high school and follow his mother’s orders. In that respect, he’s not unlike any other teenage boy. The future weighs heavy on John’s shoulders. Will he, can he, become the soldier, the leader, the savior that mankind so desperately requires?

John Connor was born to Sarah Connor on February 28, 1985 (Terminator 2: Judgement Day). His father, Kyle Reese, had been killed several months prior in May 1984, protecting Connor from a time-traveling Terminator (The Terminator). John's early life was filled with training by various persons his mother Sarah had met as the two lived off the grid after the attempt on her life by the Terminator. Much of his training concentrated on the areas of weaponry, computer technology, and espionage.

When Sarah Connor was shot and arrested after trying to blow up a computer factory, John was placed into foster care and told that his mother's stories of the future were delusions. He was unable to cope with life in suburbia and rebelled, edging towards delinquency and receiving a police record (which included trespassing, shoplifting, disturbing the peace, and vandalism) by the time he was ten years old. His foster parents, Todd and Janelle Voight, found themselves unable to deal with him, and were not surprised when a police officer showed up at their door asking to speak with John.

In 1995, John's life was changed in a matter of seconds, when a T-1000 came back from the year 2029, programmed to assassinate him. A T-800 (whom John later nickname "Uncle Bob") had also come back in time, this one programmed to protect him. John, now believing his mother's stories, used the protecting T-800 to release his mother from the mental institution. THe three then proceeded to seek out Miles Dyson, the would-be creator of the neural-net processor, in an attempt to stop Judgement Day from occuring.

Having survived the assassination attempts of the T-1000, John Connor again dropped off the grid, living as unobstrusively as possible. Sarah Connor, his mother, would die of cancer in 1997. He took up various odd jobs to pay his way and convinced himself that the actions he and Sarah had taken had prevented Judgement Day from happening.

In 2003, however, John was once again thrown back into the turmoil of his still unresolved future. Skynet had once again sent a Terminator back in time to try and finish him off. This new model, the T-X, was a substantial upgrade over the older T-1000 model, capable of creating mechanical parts (flamethrowers, saw blades, etc.) as opposed to simple stabbing weapons. A T-850 unit was sent back once again to protect John from this new weapon, but there was an unforeseen even surrounding its arrival.

John Connor and the newly reprogrammed T-850 were once again faced with a familiar situation. With a newer, highly advanced Terminator after him, Connor had to round up as many future generals as he could before Judgement Day occurred.

There is some confusion over these events, though, as John thought that Judgement Day was stopped in 1995. Though it was delayed by the events surrounding the destruction of Cyberdyne, the T-850 revealed to him that Judgement Day was inevitable, and that the previous actions only delayed it.

Though the T-850 was successful in stopping the T-X, it was too late. The newly redeveloped Skynet went online and became self-aware. It perceived humanity to be a threat and launched nuclear warheads at other countries. They responded in kind and the nuclear holocause of Judgement Day began. Connor and Kate survived by being led down to a military bunker, Crystal Peak, in the hopes of being able to remotely shut down Skynet from there. They only found Crystal Peak to be abandoned military shelter, and realizes the Terminator sen them down there to protect them from Judgement Day. They went on to from the beginnings of the human resistance.

At an unknown date during the war, Skynet decided to try a new tactic to remove the leader of the resistance Knowing the familiarity that Connor had with the T-800 unit, Skynet sent a T-850 that physically resembled the old model out to the human resistance bases where it eventually found John. His judgement clouded by memories of past experiences, he allowed the Terminator into the base where it promptly killed him and a large portion of the leaders of the human resistance. This event occurs on July 4, 2032.

Kyle Reese.

Kyle Reese (DN-38416) was a soldier in the post-apocalyptic future of the Terminator universe, where most of humanity had been wiped out in a nuclear Third World War, sparked off by an artificial intelligence entity known as Skynet. The sentient computer system launched another, genocidal, war on the survivors of the war between the Eastern Bloc and the West. Reese, born after the first war, was one of the last remaining humans who achieved victory over the machines.

Reese survived the capture and killing of his fellow humans only to serve as a Sonderkommando in one of Skynet's concentration camps, where he and others were forced to load huge numbers of bodies into Skynet's furnaces to be incinerated. Reese's freedom would come when a resistance movement, led by John Connor (whom ironically Reese says to Sarah he "would die for" before first unknowingly fathering and then sacrificing himself for.), freed him and the others from Skynet. After the camps Reese served in the 132nd under Perry from 2021 to 2027 before transferring as a sergeant to Tech-Com under John Connor himself. John Connor and the resistance would eventually rally enough remaining humans and resources to launch an assault on Skynet.

The final assault would eventually allow the human resistance to cripple Skynet. The resistance was able to destroy Skynet's defense grid allowing them to enter Skynet's main complex and attempt to destroy it. Skynet however would have a final move left: Skynet would send one of its most feared machines back (the Terminator) to 1984 to kill the young Sarah Connor, known to have been the mother of resistance leader John Connor, and thus prevent the birth of Connor and his future rebellion.

Realizing what Skynet was attempting to do, John Connor would send back a soldier to protect himself from the machine menace. It would be Reese who would volunteer himself to go back. Once Reese had gone through, the time travel equipment would be destroyed leaving only Reese and the Terminator in 1984.

Arriving unarmed and not knowing what the Terminator looks like in its disguise, Reese locates Sarah Connor, warning her of the impending doom of the human race and of the future significance carried by her and her unborn son. Though initially hostile towards Reese, Sarah grows to trust and love him as he becomes the only thing between her and the Terminator. On the run from the Terminator, Reese and Sarah share a night of intimacy in which John Connor is conceived.

Reese's life however is cut short when both he and Sarah are forced to confront the Terminator. Reese is killed by his own pipe-bomb while attempting to destroy the Terminator, which is only damaged (losing its lower limbs).

Having grown up in the future where the machines had all but wiped out the human race, Reese is both physically and mentally hardened. His body is scarred from numerous battles with Skynet and he has a number of burns as a result of the time travel process.

Though hard and battle weary, Reese had a love for Sarah Connor, a woman whom he'dnever met and only through a photo could identify. The affection Reese felt for Sarah was based on the legend that surrounded her and on the image of her from the photograph given to him by John Connor.

Kate Brewster.

Kate or Katherine Brewster grew up before the war, living in ignorance until she met John Connor. The only daughter of Lieutenant General Robert Brewster, the military director of CRS Autonomous Weapons Division, Kate's mother divorced her husband and left them when she was still at veterinary school. After finishing school, Kate went on to become a veterinarian, working at the Emery Animal Hospital, and became engaged to fiancé Scott Mason.

In 2004, her normal life was to change. Upon reacting to an animal emergency at the Emery Animal Hospital, Kate met John Connor whom she had previously been to school with, and with whom she had experienced her very first kiss. With John Connor and a reprogrammed 850 Series Terminator, Kate managed to escape a T-X which had been sent back in time to eliminate her. Practically kidnapped by these two, Kate learned the truth of things to come, of Skynet, and of Judgment Day. Setting off with the others to CRS to try to stop her father from activating Skynet, Kate was unsuccessful, and her father was killed by the T-X.

Getting to the Crystal Peak Control and Command Center, a hardened fallout shelter facility in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for VIPs, Kate and John were able to survive Judgment Day as the nuclear missiles fell. Using the communications equipment within the facility, Kate helped John to get in touch with survivors and co-ordinate a Resistance force. Eventually marrying John and giving birth to their children, Kate became second in command of the Resistance, and a very much loved and respected leader in the continuing battle against the machines. However, by 2032, her husband was killed by a T-850. She managed to reprogram it to travel back in time to save John in 2004.
