Will Sarah and Derek become lovers. Sarah seems to treat Derek as Kyle. So why not?

I don't think she treats him the same. In fact, I think she dislikes him a bit because he's not more like Kyle. Also, he killed Andy and Sarah liked Andy! She was pissed when she found out!

It's a not going to happen type thingy.... if they did my perception of Derek is skewed..... and i'd have to reevaluate him for my writing.

its not going to happen there just makin Derek out to be a nice guy and he going to go bad my gut tells me he's more of a threat to the conners than the terminators are , he's getting aweful close to them , Sarah's first rule Trust No one , especially family....!

There's so much hidden there, it could go either way. I can see John trusting him and trusting Cameron. Sarah only trusts John, but maybe not his judgment. He gets too close to people!

I think he has too much admiration for his brother and would not even think about it, he has only one love and thats just for the destruction of Skynet and the Terminators. Beyond that he just wants to smell the grass and feel the sun.

Klaatu, I think your right there , but think about this If the machines offer him a way to save his brother or somehow he could save his brother but it would mean he has to turn on John to do it I think he will, I think he would do anything to get his brother back

Derrick does have a hidden agenda, i wonder if the skynet chipped him in that basement. I remember in one episode may have been the demon hand where Derrick and John are talking and he says to John "look john what can happen to a person behind four walls screws with your head, makes you do things you never thought you would do" John replies "some people always fight, some people never give up" derick responds "fewer than you think". I wonder if the script writers were hinting to what may have happened to derrick in that basement.

The writers certainly have their jobs cut out for them with this character! I love it! So much they can do with him. I have always said this (humorously of course): John and Cameron "hook up", Derek and Sarah, then Derek dumps Sarah's ass for Cameron and they run off and start Skynet themselves.... ;)
