I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. A possible theory on why Cameron kept the chip: Maybe, since chips can be reprogrammed, she was planning on making a copy of herself in case something happened to her? Or is that theory shot out of the water because they are two different models? Does that even matter? A program is a program that can be modified no matter what the operating system (right?)...

Camerons chip seems to be a completely different size to vic chip, smaller and more streamlined IMO.

And with regards to chips, i used to have turbo cars that had chips in them to make them go faster etc etc. Wrong chip the car would not start.

Just to add to that, motherboards require certain processors to work, wrong processor it wont work.

But until we know exactly what CSM model she is anything can happen. :)

i LIKE THE THEORY ...it is possible kinda like a back up I think all Terminators would be programmed to use any and all technology they had to survive , to complete there mission. if terminators are like me hell there always backing up something computer wise good theory in my book....!

even though she is a one of a kind she would still use what she had at the time to complete the mission reguardless of model.
