I think on the long run yes. The more he investigates her the more he will become aware of what's really happening, but until he has an uninterrupted chat with either Sarah or John, he wont fully understand or believe what will happen in the future.

i doubt so. james ellison is one of the "main" characters in the show if u get what im talking about. hes the 4th lead or smth like that. 1st 2nd 3rd is definitely the other 3. so i doubt he will die. hahaha lets wait for season 2 to find out!
anyone knows when season 2 will be out?

I think he is a believer, that a future war is to take place with machines, but like the old cop he will be just behind what is really happening.

If he was to join Sarah and gang the show may become to linear in its approach to keeping the audience entertained, to keep him interested but at a distance is the best thing to do with him, plus its always good when he has evidence and everybody disbelieves him. Its like the xfiles. Without evidence nobody will believe. :)
